The Houston Latin American Philharmonic presents its annual Mother’s Day Serenade. The program will include What a Wonderful World, My Way, Solo Pienso en Tí, Barco a la Deriva, and Tribute to Mirla Castellanos with Maldito Amor, Si No Estuvieras Tú, and Venezuela. The guest artists for this special concert are Mirla Castellanos (La Primerisima ), Luis Alonso Hernandez, and the international actor and singer Guillermo Davila.

The Houston Latin Phil is the only professional orchestra in the United States created to present full programs of Latin American music exclusively. The orchestra is led by American-Venezuelan maestro Glenn Garrido. There is no better gift to one’s mother than a serenade!
